About the Author

John F. Edwards is a motivational speaker, trainer, columnist, and internationally ranked athlete.  John is an expert in the theories of motivation and self-improvement.  Since 1987, he has worked with a variety of groups from small real estate firms to Fortune 100 companies.  He has sales, leadership, or training experience with some of the largest companies in the world in their respective industries.

He is driven to maximize opportunities in life.  From performing on five musical instruments to competing in the State Championships of multiple sports (having won two State titles), John decided long ago that life was not a spectator sport.  He has produced or appeared in over two hundred television and radio commercials.  His experiences have allowed him to be interviewed by media organizations both here and abroad.  He has been a columnist, certified professional ski instructor, movie and jazz concert reviewer (on TV as well as in print) as well as a performing magician.  He is a professional member of the National Speakers Association.

John is passionate about people and consequently, he is constantly studying the nuances of human interaction and thinking. 

He and his wife, Amy, enjoy the privilege of raising four children in Central New York.
